A personal note

The right partner for turning network data into decisions.

We are a technology practice first. Our engineers, data specialists, UX researchers and designers work as one team, on operations where timing is everything: aviation, rail, utilities, consumer supply chains and distribution.

That is why we can take any data, from any source, whether it is the transport management system, the warehouse system, telematics, order books, weather or the driver's own phone, and engineer it into the right format for the people who need it: the control tower, the depot manager, the driver in the cab and the customer waiting for the promise to be kept.

Our aim is simple. Build robust, measurable experiences that make the most of every medium, instrumented against the KPIs that matter to you, and deployed inside the environment you choose.

The problem

A promise to the customer is kept or broken across depots, vehicles, drivers, stock and weather, and nobody can see all of it at once

Every delivery slot is a promise. Keeping it depends on a depot that picked on time, a vehicle that is roadworthy, a driver who is available, stock that is where the system says it is, and roads and weather that behave. The people running the network see those things in six systems and a WhatsApp group, so the picture only comes together after the promise has already been broken. The sector runs on thin margins with little room for that: the Road Haulage Association measured operating costs up 5.91% excluding fuel in 2025, and almost a third of HGV mileage is still driven empty. When a planner cannot see which depot, which vehicle and which order a problem sits in, they cannot act on it in time. Showing the right things, in the right format, at the right moment is not decoration. It is what keeps the promise, the margin and the driver.

The problem

The gap in numbers

What poor visibility costs customers, operators and the people who keep the network moving.

£170bn
What is at stake

UK logistics adds £170 billion a year to the economy and employs more than 8% of the workforce. It is the sector everything else depends on.

293,714
Drivers, and falling

The active HGV driver workforce stood at 293,714 at the start of 2025, down 1.9% in a year, with UK-born drivers down 4.5%. Every hour of driver time has to work harder.

30%
Driven empty

GB-registered HGVs ran 5.7 billion of their 19.0 billion kilometres empty in the year to March 2026: nearly a third of all mileage carries nothing.

23%
Promises missed

A quarter of HGV operators reported driver vacancies at the end of 2025, and 23% of those with vacancies missed deliveries because no driver was available.

61m sq ft
Space in the wrong place

Big box vacancy is back above 7% with 61 million sq ft empty, while Grade A space is down to 2.9% vacant. The right space is scarce, the wrong space is not.

11%
The cost of downtime

The world's 500 largest companies lose 11% of revenues to unplanned downtime, $1.4 trillion a year. Costs rose 62% since 2019 even as incidents fell.

Our solution

Turning network, fleet and warehouse data into one live picture that helps planners, depot teams, drivers and the board make the right call, from the boardroom to the bay to the cab.

OUR SOLUTION

Understand the audience, then show them what matters

We know the sector: decisions are made at every level, from the network to the depot to the vehicle to the load. The right visual layer understands what each person is responsible for and serves them exactly what they need to keep the promise.

What the gap costs you

  • Deliveries missed for reasons that were in the data an hour earlier but visible to nobody
  • Controllers and depot managers phoning around six systems instead of fixing the plan
  • Boards steering a live network from last week's report
  • Empty miles, idle trailers and overtime that nobody sees until the month closes

Network · Depot · Vehicle · Load

  • Bring depots, routes, vehicles and loads to life with live maps, 3D twins and motion
  • Apply your design system so every screen is unmistakably yours, for your teams and your customers
  • Unify TMS, WMS, telematics, orders, workforce and weather through a single data layer
  • Engineer it to perform in a control tower, on a depot wall, in the cab or in a headset

Our solution

From six systems to one live picture of the network

  • Start with the promise, not the report

Let a controller begin with what they need to know, such as which orders will miss their slot today, and see why.
  • Make the network visible

Live maps and 3D twins show every depot, vehicle and load in context, so people see the pattern instead of hunting for it.
  • Design for how decisions are made

Drill from network to depot to vehicle to load, with shared views for the control tower, the depot and the driver, all reading the same truth.
  • Rehearse before you commit

Simulation runs in the background: test a driver shortfall, a closed motorway or a late inbound in the twin before it happens for real.
  • Build on what already exists

Integrate with the TMS, WMS, ERP and telematics you already run. No rip and replace.

Case study · Network and depot command

From the boardroom to the loading bay in three clicks

Stock and distribution command for a national network of sites, shown here for a trade supply business. Every site sits on a live map, then the view drops onto one real yard in photoreal 3D with live bin-level stock over the actual racking, steps inside, follows the fleet and the load, and runs the yard as a simulation. The same model fits a parcel hub, a regional distribution centre or a port terminal.

  • Network cockpit: stock value, availability and risk across every site at a glance
  • Estate on the map: each site sized and coloured by what needs attention
  • Photoreal site: live bin-level stock drawn over the real bays and buildings
  • Step inside: racking, goods-in and the counter, all driven by the same stock model
  • Fleet and load: every vehicle on the road and every load on the bed, from the same screen
  • Yard simulation: forklifts, deliveries and collections played out before the shift starts

Case study · Airport and air cargo operations

Every stand, every turnaround, one live airfield

An airport terminal operations twin on a photoreal apron: live aircraft from the transponder feed, the stand plan for the next three hours, ground crews and coaches, fuel and baggage telemetry, and live weather, all in one picture. A scenario such as a snow day plays out on the real airfield so the operation can rehearse it. For air cargo the same view follows the unit, the truck and the flight.

  • Live aircraft: every arrival and departure tracked in the air and on the ground, on the real apron
  • Stand schedule: the next three hours of stand load and conflicts, drawn where they will happen
  • Ground telemetry: fuel uplift, bags through the hall, pushback queue and coach waits, live
  • Scenarios: snow day, runway inspection or a baggage slowdown, rehearsed on the real airfield
  • Weather in the picture: wind, visibility and pressure beside the aircraft they affect
  • One operating picture: airline, ground handler and airport looking at the same live twin

Case study · Tracking, replay and rehearsal

Rehearse the bad day

A live tracking picture for air and sea movements over a photoreal map, followed from above, with coverage shown as it changes and the last 24 hours ready to replay. Built for a command centre, the same engine gives an air freight or port operator a picture of every movement into and out of the estate, and a scrubber to go back to the moment the day went wrong.

  • Follow from above: lock the camera to any movement and watch it cross a real city in real time
  • Coverage on the map: see what your sensors and feeds can and cannot see, and where the gaps are
  • Replay the day: scrub back through the last 24 hours to find where the plan started to slip
  • Play the scenario: a diversion, a closure or a late arrival plays out step by step for briefing and debrief
  • Every mode in one picture: aircraft, vessels and vehicles on the same map, from the same data layer
  • From rehearsal to routine: the scenario you rehearsed becomes the checklist the shift runs on

Exact digital twins

The real depot, vehicle, fleet or port, rebuilt to the millimetre

A twin only earns trust when people recognise what they are looking at. We build exact replicas of real sites, whole fleets and the routes between them, inside and out, from a single trailer or a racking aisle to a regional distribution centre, a parcel hub or a container terminal. We start from whatever already exists and we never need a perfect dataset to begin.

What we build from

Plans and site data: CAD and BIM models, racking layouts, yard plans, scanned drawings and legacy paper plans.

Pictures and video: photographs, walk-through footage, dashcam and yard camera feeds, turned into accurate textured geometry.

LiDAR and laser scans: point clouds and Gaussian splats of warehouses, yards and vehicles, captured as built rather than as designed.

Any other source: OpenStreetMap, satellite and aerial imagery, photoreal 3D tiles, vehicle specifications and sensor feeds.

What you get

A faithful replica: true dimensions, layouts, liveries and interiors, so drivers and depot teams recognise it at once.

Every location addressable: bays, bins, docks and vehicles linked to their stock, orders and condition data.

Step inside: walk an aisle, a dock or a cab in the browser, on a headset or on a handheld, with no install.

Controlled by design: commercially sensitive geometry and rates stay in your environment, with detail set by role.

How we work

Any data, from any source, in the format that fits the moment

Logistics runs on fragmented systems, many of them inherited through acquisition: orders in one place, the warehouse in another, telematics with the vehicle supplier and the driver's day in a group chat. We integrate them through a governed data layer and engineer the experience people actually see, so a controller acts from one view and the board sees the whole network.

Data we integrate

Orders and planning: TMS, WMS, ERP and order management, with slots, promises and exceptions.

Fleet and telematics: positions, driver hours, tachograph, fuel, temperature and vehicle health from any supplier.

Stock and sites: bin-level inventory, dock schedules, yard state and site condition across every depot.

The outside world: roads, weather, ports, rail and customer feeds, plus open data such as OpenStreetMap, unified under one model.

How we deliver it

Live maps and 3D twins: real-time rendering in the browser to see where, how much and why, instantly.

A view for every role: control tower, depot wall, driver's handheld and customer tracking page, all reading the same data.

Simulation and guided modes: test tomorrow's plan in the background, or let the twin walk a board or a new joiner through the network.

Deployed where your data lives: your cloud or your premises, built on open standards with audit built in.
